Paul Weller's New Drummer Rumours...

There are some reports that musician, Steve Pilgrim out of Liverpool is to join Paul Weller's band as the new drummer.

About Steve Pilgrim:
Split personality of drummer and singer songwriter creates equal parts energetic beat monkey and moody boy. Depending on what day you get him he could drumming up trouble with various characters/ bands/artists/lucky chancers or just strumming away on "old faithful" trying to earn a few pennies.

Influences:
Elliot Smith, Nick Drake, Paul Simon, the Band, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Paul Weller, Jeff Buckley Johnny Cash, Yoshio Akeboshi, Bjork, Talking Heads, and all those liverpool noise makers.

PAUL WELLER has urged fellow Brit JOHN LYDON to stop clinging to the past - because the punk icon has become the "antithesis" of JOHNNY ROTTEN. The Jam founder admits he shudders every time he sees Lydon on reality TV shows or hears of another planned Sex Pistols reunion. And he has two simple words of advice for the punk star: "Leave it." Weller says, "I don't really understand him anymore. He's become the antithesis of what he once was. Does he need the money? "Perhaps he misses the adulation, the buzz.
