Paul Weller At The Fuji Rock Festval!

Without much fanfare Weller projects a depth on stage that compliments the natural richness of his music. And that's good cause on another soaked Green Stage Friday, the audience needed all the power they could get. With over 30 years playing and consistently releasing albums, he's a professional whose stage presence — steaming shirt, smoking smokes, utilitarian arrang

Paul Weller's Eden Session - A Review!

Wota Nice Day At Eden Rifles Monday, July 13, 2009, 14:50 This Is Plymouth.co.uk IT WAS a beautiful bucolic evening beneath the biomes' brilliant blisters and about as far removed from a tube station at midnight as you can get, but amazingly we were all in mortal danger of imminent combustion. And this despite – irony of ironies during an anti-climate change event – the fact that it was chucking it down. But there I was being told by a glow-in-the-dark official to move because I was blocking a 'fire escape', cunningly disguised as the path next to the crowd next to the front of the stage. This request left me somewhat confused, unable to envisage how a conflagration could get a foothold at an outdoor event, in a giant garden that was rapidly turning into a giant pond. But, silly me, what I didn't realise was Paul Weller was about to take the stage and set us all alight even with songs called Sea Spray and Out of the Sinking. And, boy, was the Modfather on fire. Winter Tour - More Info Trickles In...

OK, folks. We are still wary to re-post the expected (rumored) Paul Weller Winter Tour dates as they still have yet to be confirmed. Numerous people have phoned Bookings Direct and have been told the tickets will go on sale July 8. Throughout the day, there have been reports that some dates have shown up on the ticket site, but disappear just as fast. To be honest, we just don't know. It's been a crazy couple of days trying to get the correct info for you. I'm looking at the site now and there is no listing for Paul Weller. So, I'm sure there will be all sorts of speculation until we get to July 8th or we are lucky enough to have an official announcement before then. At any rate, all this excitement for concerts scheduled to take place five months from now is a true testament to the dedication that our faithful readers have for Paul. As always, if we hear anything concrete, we'll let you know.
