Paul played a full band acoustic session for Clint Boon on Xfm in Manchester yesterday. Paul gave a short interview answering fan's questions as well! On the next album Paul said, "I'd like to do something soulful and funky, but with an edge." Paul Weller To Release "The Attic" Digital EP On July 23rd!

Paul Weller is set to release "The Attic" on July 23rd as a digital only EP. The three track EP will come with an original song called, "The Piper" that was the B-side of Paul's US Record Store Day release . In addition, the EP will have a full length version of the instrumental, "Sleep Of The Serene" that you only hear a snippet of on Paul's Sonik Kicks album.

Paul Weller's tribute to Paul McCartney's 70th "Birthday" is released today, and for ONE DAY ONLY. Here's a short interview Weller did talking about meeting Macca for the first time, recording " Come Together " with him for the War Child Charity and Weller's choice of "Birthday" as his tribute. "We've done a good version. Bruce Foxton To Play "Wake Up Woking 3" And Talks About New Album

BRUCE FOXTON is a happy man. A new wife, a new album and a reunion with his childhood friend and former bandmate Paul Weller have helped turn his life around. The man who played bass and sang with Woking’s most famous musical sons The Jam was left distraught in 2009 when his first wife, Pat, lost a prolonged battle with cancer. But gradually he has rebuilt his life and his career and he’s happier than he has been for years. He married new wife Kate last summer, is putting the finishing touches to his first new album in years and he’s done it with the help of former Jam colleague Weller. The album has been recorded at Weller’s studio in Ripley and he has added guitar on three tracks. “It’s quite upsetting to talk about,” says Bruce when he looks back on Pat’s battle with cancer, as he prepares to play Wake Up Woking 3, a benefit show for the Woking and Sam Beare hospices on Friday, June 22.
