Paul Weller Wins Brit!

Paul Weller has picked up the award for Best Male Solo Artist at tonight's (February 18) BRIT Awards at London's Earls Court. The former JAM singer wasn’t at the awards tonight. Instead, Weller's award was presented to him by Adele via a video link. Both artists seemed to find the occasion funny as they couldn’t stop laughing during the recording. When Weller eventually spoke, he thanks the BRITs. "Sorry I cant be there tonight," he said. "But thank you very much for this award. Have a good night"

Signed Paul Weller & Legends Guitar Up For Grabs!

ON A BALMY NIGHT at London's The Brewery in June 2008, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Paul Weller, John Fogerty, Lemmy, Genesis, The Last Shadow Puppets, Duffy and the late, great John Martyn (to name but a few) all made their way to the signing room at the annual MOJO Honours List ceremony to put pen to a Gibson ES-335. That guitar could now be yours! The instrument had been generously donated to the War Child charity by Gibson Guitars - sponsors of the MOJO Les Paul Award. It's now being auctioned via Ebay! This Gibson ES-335 was signed by the following 2008 MOJO Honours List winners and presenters. Paul Weller To Play Charity Event At Abbey Road Studios!

The Modfather will join Paolo Nutini, Lema and new Americana artist Diana Jones at Cancer Research's annual Sound And Vision event at the iconic Abbey Road studios in London on February 26th. Paul said: "I'm proud to be associated with this event and to be supporting Cancer Research UK's amazing work." The event will also feature a live auction of music memorabilia, giving guests the chance to own a piece of music history. Items going under the hammer include an Epiphone guitar signed by Paul, Slash, Brian May and Justin Hawkins. There will also be an auction of music imagery by leading rock photographers including Tom Bailey, Gered Mankowitz, Adrian Boot, Jill Furmanovsky and Terry O'Neill.
