Paul Weller will release the second greatest hits/best of collection of his solo career titled, "More Modern Classics." There will be a 3CD Deluxe Edition, Standard CD and a double 180gram Heavyweight Vinyl . The collection will include Paul's new single, "Brand New Toy." All pre-orders through the official store will receive a special code to purchase tickets early to two intimate concerts in London. Paul Weller has been announced to perform in Italy at the Umbria Rock Festival. Paul will take the stage on Saturday, 2 August! Tickets and Festival Info HERE!

Paul Weller has announced a solo show to take place on the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham on 24th June 2014 ! Support will come from Tom Odell.   Tickets go on sale THIS FRIDAY at 9am via Ticketmaster Ireland HERE!

Although there's been no official word about this release, we've seen several Record Store Day 2014 lists that include a 45rpm from Paul titled, "A Brand New Toy" b/w "Landslide." The 7 inch single looks to be extremely limited as the distribution number is only 750 . We're also assuming this is a UK only release. If you're a serious collector, you'll no doubt want to consider heading out to your local shop on 19 April and securing your very own copy.

Paul Weller is the first artist announced for the Mouth of the Tyne Festival at Tynemouth Priory and Castle . Paul is scheduled to perform Saturday 12 July!  Mayor Norma Redfearn said: “We are thrilled to welcome Paul Weller to our tenth anniversary festival and can’t wait to see him in action - it’s a great way to celebrate ten years of live music and entertainment at one of North Tyneside’s most iconic locations.” Tickets go on sale this Thursday at 9am HERE! We're been informed there's some great images of Paul Weller with the Ocean Colour Scene lads in this new book Soul Driver by Tony Briggs and Ian Snowball chronicling, probably the greatest era of the band, 1995-1999. Out in March. Looks like a good one! All print sales in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
